Unlike conventional cell counters, LUNA-STEM™ combines dual fluorescence and brightfield imaging to distinguish live nucleated cells, dead nucleated cells, and non-nucleated cells, even in complex tissue-derived samples containing red blood cells and cellular debris. In as little as 30 seconds, the system provides cell concentration, viability, and average cell size, making it particularly relevant for laboratories working with adipose-derived stem cells, regenerative medicine, cell therapy research, and longevity-related cellular applications.
